I did a little trading the other night and ended up with this. From what I can find it's an Elletts Brothers exclusive. It's a S&W Model 437 38 SPL +P Duo Tone Chief's Special. What little I've found shows there were only 1000 made. It's an Airweight but not marked as one. The frame is aluminum and the cylinder and barrel are stainless. I wish it was unfired but since it isn't, I'll carry it some. I've seen them on auction sites from $300 to $400 and on armslist at $450, 475 and 500. I've only seen 5 of them for sale. I know it's nothing special but I like it. When I first saw it I wasn't really into it but it grew on me. The cartridge in the box shows 2009 test fire date. The 1000 made is from the internet so I'm unsure about the number. I did find it in Elletts catalog and it shows as being exclusive to them. MSRP in there was $600.
