RWS #1081 Caps

Gentlemen,
I need help finding RwS #1081 caps for my old Knight T-bolt or a different breech plug that fits and uses 209s. I'm down to my last 18 out of the original 250 I bought with the gun. Thanks.

You could use a differnt brand of caps.

OK. I would gladly try another brand. Who else makes #1081s and where can I get them? I did find some on line but they were $85 for 1000. I was hoping for a cheaper option. Thanks

I might be able to help out a fellow TnDeer member in need. I shoot a 1858 replica Enfield musket and have quite a few 1081's in my shootin box. Finding them locally is nigh on impossible. I usually get mine at Friendship,In at the NMLRA matches. The German caps(RWS) have gone out of sight, cost wise. I remember them just afew years ago at $20/1000. I'd be willing to help you out and part with a few if you're interested. I noticed your location is at Arrington. I'm pretty close at just outside Smyrna.

if it was me, I would just order one of these, and then shoot the 209's with the red plastic jackets...
