Thats about how I feel right now, like a wore down rutt crazed buck in january..LOL I've been having a rough season,so i've been hunting this past week hard.I've hunted every day since opening of gun season except Monday. My throat has turned sore, and I have a raw feeling in my stomach that started yesterday and im just plain tired..

Had intentions of not hunting tomorrow, but after hunting this morning and haveing 2 does pushed passed me by a buck, then followed by the buck chaseing another doe all over a hill side to my right,I have since changed my plans for tomorrow...Gonna HUNT some more..LOL Back to the same stand as this morning.Did a little scouting on that hill side and found rubs gallore all over it,some big ones to. Hope he comes back through that funnel in the morning.Because frankly im wore out.LOL

I've killed 3 so far this season.1 doe during bow season,1 doe during MZ and a 6pt during MZ and 2 coyotes with my 30-06 last week.

not sure how you do it .I cant hunt more than 2 days in a row this year. i killed a doe this weekend but its been slow at the lease.I finally saw a buck sunday.I was dragging my doe out and jumped him 10 yards from the tree i have hunted every morning except sunday.lol

I slept in this morning, and felt guilty when I woke up for not hunting.LOL My goal every year is to get a buck that I can do a euro mount on,which is not big, mostly a 2.5yr old will fit the bill..I'll be back after them in the morning.Might possibly get to hunt tomorrow evening too.

Never said I didn't like Tn.Normally the hunting is excellent where I hunt. This is just a odd ball year for some reason. I've seen as many as 20+ deer where I hunt in a single hunt. Normally by this time of year,i've killed atleast 2 2.5yr olds or older..I've not even seen a 2.5 yr old buck this year..Im guessing the complete mast crop failure has something to do with it.Because all the deer im seeing are in green fields..And the properties I hunt doesn't have any green fields on them.
