Hunted last weekend and two weekends before with some rut activity on our lease. In stand now and it's very quiet so far. Anybody else having any activity in this neck of the woods?

Just got home and had spike and 6 following a doe. The spike was right on her tail and grunting and the 6 was about five minutes behind them. I guess they are still going. My take is that there will still be some activity for at least the next 2-3 weeks as different does cycle into estrous. At lease I hope so! I blew a chance at the 6 with my bow. Wasn't going to shoot the spike.

I hate to hear that about the 6pt. Thanks for the updata . Nothing going on at my farm as of last weekend! Had the place for over ten yrs and have never seen the rut this late. The deer on my farm just started rubbing trees good week before last and have yet to see the first scrape!!!

Only one lone doe today. Still wasn't as warm as I anticipated. Hoping a few does cycle into estrous in the week to ten days based on the timing of our first action.
