I am wanting to buy a Factory wood stock for a M77 MKII rifle.I found a ultra lite stock and my question is are the two compatible?I am not familiar with the ultra lite models and I am not sure if it has a tapered barrel or standard contour.
The ultralight stocks will not fit the standard rifles unless you do a lot of wood removable. The true lite-weight ruger stocks will have a black ebony tip on forearm the standard stock will not. You can get your standard stock from "Stocky's" here on the internet.
