I used to buy gas for .69 cents a gallon. I don't like the prices either but it is what it is. Makes it hard to sell anything with all the critics these days.
Brother I'm sorry if I offended your pricing because that wasn't my point. Just stating how things used to be . Your price isn't high compared to others and it is a beautiful gun . I've even stated some prices I've seen on Marlin lever action guns unreal compared to the price my wife gave for my Marlin model 1895 45-70 . She gave around $130 bucks tax included now no telling what they'll bring .

That's the proper Ruger caliber stamping. I agree it's a combination I've never seen before either. Beautiful gun. I think the price is more than fair. Those are fantastic rifles. If I wasn't trying to buy a new mower, I'd be all over this.

It is the factory Ruger barrel. At least that's what I was told when I bought it in the 90's.
I've seen a few of these rifles with a blued receiver and stainless barrel. In the early 2000's I bought a "new/old stock" skeleton stock .270 in this configuration.

It's an oddball, but they're out there.

Had one just like this rifle in 22 PPC at the time Ruger built some in the 6mm PPC and other calibers, my understanding they was never cataloged. Mine had the brown laminated stock a blue action and stainless barrel sold it to a friend of mine over 25 years a go. You have a beautiful rifle and worth every bit of what your asking.
