RUGER BLACKHAWK

I have a blackhawk in 45 colt.I have loaded up some good hunting ammo and am going to try to kill a few does during the second gun season.My question is I would like to upgrade the sights.Does anybody have any suggestions. I shot a redhawk one time that a small bead as a front sight I really liked it.

My near vision is crap these days since I hit late 40's so I just broke down and put a scope on mine. Weaver mount and a Weaver classic scope.
Always thought the stock Ruger sights were pretty good back when I could see them without bifocals.

I've got a Blackhawk 44 mag, 10 1/2 inch barrel and I put a handgun scope on it the same day I bought it. Had it 30 years and it's never once failed.

I just paint the front ramp on mine....I have used both white and gold, both work well
