Does anyone own one? I am looking for an AR and the Ruger is appealing to me but I am looking at all options. Any input is appreciated.

The one that my friend had was so-so at best,but then again I'm not a fan of anything Ruger makes.

It's a decent entry level AR, I shot a friends at our local gunclub. I was able to get around inch and a half 5 shot 100 yard groups with M855 ball ammo. His rifle had a 1:8 twist. I did not notice any malfunctions while we where there. He probably ran a couple of hundred rounds through it. That is if your referring to the AR556. Have not shot the SR556, but have looked at one and they're very nice indeed. BTW: Ruger has excellent factory service.
