Very accurate. Shot roughly 10 times.

The Ruger American is one lightweight and accurate deer rifle, and 7mm/08 may just be the best all around cartridge for a whitetail rifle.

Also, while it's not ceracoated or stainless, the Ruger matte bluing is surprisingly resistant to the elements. Not saying it won't rust but I know if it's nasty out both me and my hunting buddy will probably be toting ours.
