Round up ready question?

roundup ready is a trademark of Monsanto, if a farmer plants a roundup ready product and uses only Monsanto products then Monsanto will warrant seed/roundup

food plots are just not enough to worry about, yet on the other hand of the equation Monsanto is selling Roundup to farmers this year for about $10.50 per gallon and this is the good stuff, only 22 ounces per acre, which is about an additional 33% savings per acre

My local feed/seed store where I buy my gly, I paid about $39 a 2.5 gal jug.

With it being a generic, it had a different trade name almost everytime I buy it! One time is is bulldog, maddog, etc...

Any Gly, I use generic and buy by the gallon.
How are you spraying,4 wheeler sprayer,or hand held?

I am actually buying the 2.5 gallon not one gallon. I am spraying with my 4-wheeler sprayer and hand held. I have been doing more "spot" spraying this year. Dang Mint is winning the battle but I am going to win the war.

Ok ,I guess with a 2.5 you can get thru em pretty quick, just dont guess they would take riding over with a 4 wheeler, might do my bottom field in them next year, gotta check on the fence part though, saw 7 deer in their last weekend.

any gly... Farmers typically only use Round Up because if something happens and the round up kills the beans they (Monsano) will pay for the cost to replant. For most of us that plant beans or corn for wildlife it makes more sense to take a very small gamble and go with generic brand.

FH, surprisingly the eagle beans have rebounded from the 4-wheeler really well. I've only sprayed them once and you can't tell I drove in them.
