Rope for homemade LifeLine.

Curious where y'all who have made homemade lifelines got your rope. We have a set that is over 40 feet high on our lease, but every lifeline I've seen is 30 foot.

You can put a prussit knot on both sides of the knot if you wanted to make one longer.

any good out door store should have climbing rope, use the climbing rope not rappelling rope standard 7/16 climbing rope has some stretch rapelling rope is stiff and has no stretch

I use military issue green twist nylon rope.
Then use 6mm accessory cord from REI (36 cents a foot) to make purssik knots.
