Not ultralight per se, but my go to combo is a light spinning Berkley Lightning Rod. It is 5'6, can handle 4-8 # line and 1/16 oz-3/8 lures. I use 4# fluorocarbon line on mine.
My reel is an inexpensive Shimano spinning reel (Model AX1000). It's plain black, and costs $12 at Bass Pro.
It's not ultralight, but it is light enough for bream/crappie. It's also strong enough for bass and trout.
