Went searching for rockfish with shorefisherman this weekend on the upper end of C-hull lake on the Cumberland river. We had one of those days that when you tell someone about it they are like,yea, right. Between the 2 of us we boated 17 fish. The smallest went 22lbs, the biggest was 48lbs with a 30lb average. Shoreman got the 48lb, 45" pig blowup on video which you can see on his zzzzt zzzzt part duece thread.
Multiple times we were both hooked up on quality fish- Here are 2 that came at the same time, one from the front, one from the back
We caught a lot of fish like this
We got 3 in this range- notice the "white pee" coming out of him. These big males were ready and willing, they did their business all over us, the boat, our gear- everything.
It was a great day, one that I will never forget.
