Anyone ever mess with them? They're a tradition around our house. We have a bucket full of candy at the house, and these are what I keep coming back for.

1) Scoop out the innards of the pumpkins, separating the seeds out
2) Cover the seeds in a brine (flavored with your choice of seasonings), and bring to a boil.
3) Let water boil for about 5 minutes, then remove pot from heat.
4) Soak seeds until water cools.
5) Drain & lightly rinse seeds in a collander
6) Evenly spread seeds on a cookie sheet & bake in 300 degree oven until crisp (bonus points if you can use a convection fan). Stir them around every 15 minutes or so to keep them separated and to ensure even cooking. Take them out just before they really start turning golden colored.

That's just the way I did it.....start the boil at 8:30, it's not cool when I'm ready for bed, so they sat in the pot all night.

Pumpkin seeds will help you poop after eating nothing but jerky all day :D

I'm going to make a batch of both this week to prep for Saturday.hopefully, they won't be needed.

You need new gloves.

Sure thing. I wear a size Large. -make sure they get here by Thursday. :)

You have shot that bow so much and held it in your hand so much you actually wore the gloves thin. I am wondering how many deer hunts those gloves have been on with you?
