Just spent a couple of days at Dale Hollow for a club tournament. I wound up 4th. It was tough fishing for our group of guys that don't fish there much. I didn't have a bite until 11:00. I caught 4 in the next hour then didn't catch my 5th until 2:00.

Hitting the road in the morning for about a 10 hour drive to Beaver Lake (Arkansas) for the BassCat Owners Invitational. It should be a good time. They're expecting about 400 teams this year. We will have Wed/Th to practice, and the tournament is Fri/Sat. Be back home Sunday.

that's a tough lake to fish but if you can catch em they're usually nice ones. Always loved fishing Dale Hollow, used to do real well up there. how much weight did it take to win it?

Like I said.. most of our club doesn't fish there much... and we only had one day to practice. It was off limits Mon-Thur. Hard to put something together on a lake that big in only one day.

It took a little over 17 to get a Top 10 at the BFL there the weekend before (150+ boats).
