Road trip and 60+ deer

I finally got another 3 day weekend so me and my wife decided to drive to hilton head (actually bluffton, sc) just to get away on friday. On our way there coming through sc we lost count but saw more than 60 deer along side of the interstate and road. Most were closer to bluffton. I was amazed. We arrived at around 1230 am.
 
it's funny. we travel other states that are supposed to have so many more deer than tennessee but we only see deer in tennessee. i have never seen a deer while traveling in ga, sc,alabama,nc,va. we see quite a few in western ky and illinois.

you have some of the worste luck seeing deer Ive heard of.
 
Low country of SC is loaded with deer. If you want to see a ton of deer. Go to Fripp Island SC. They will be laying underneath the houses in the summer. Go down hwy 17 from NC to SC or I95 from Santee to Savannah or hwy 264 from Raliegh to Rose Bay at dusk during the summer. If you don't see deer there, then you don't know what one looks like.

i saw a lot of deer last season. for me it's either boom or bust.
