After way too little rainfall in 2024 (Chattanooga area 20-25% below normal), the system needs recharging. Kind of odd for it to happen in February vs March/April, however.

some of our worst flooding has been in january and february. dormant trees dont use a whole lot of water as they do in spring and summer heavy rains.

Rock island has all the gates open. Havent seen the water this high at the sandbar since last years flood.
