UGA up to #2, with 5 - 5 stars, 10 - 4 stars, and 16 overall commits... depending on which service you believe.

Not going to be able to be #1 this year due to quantity, but quality looks good. Only have space for a few more in the class. I just hope that they get more much-needed d-line help. Running back and o-line looking strong for years to come.

I've not kept up with recruiting a bit this year. First time in a long time.

I just heard them talking on the radio on the way to work this morning... They had them as 13th in the nation and 2ed in the SEC east behind UGA of course....

I was actually surprised to hear that, I know it is early and other teams will sign really good players late..

Still three 4* DBs is nice to hear....

4* & 5* Olinemen is nice as well in the SEC... vols have 3 linemen rated as a 4* or higher committed.

That puts the vols right around 10th in the nation at the moment...

With 7 4* players or better committed.

Be interesting to see how they finish up this class....

I know it's all about * avg to some well the vols have the 3ed highest * Avg in all the SEC at the moment only behind UGA & Bama of course...

They just got another 4 star WR/DB I will say it early Tenn.will win the east.

It is funny how some think if JP wins 6 games he should be sec coach of the year.
I would just like to see what kind of coach he is,

Is he aggressive or laid back ...

Barring some other coach's team doing even better, then I could see him winning it just because I don't see 6 and have to struggle to even get to 5. So I say if they become bowl eligible and some teams just didn't totally fall apart against them, then he'd deserve it.
