I need some squirrel hunting rimfire scopes,,at least 2 and could use 3,,my brother has a 2-7 Leupold that is nice,,but cheap as I can find them is 220$$,,the 4x is same price

the Weaver Rimfire Classic scopes in the same power range is 1/2 price,,I have looked through them but never used one,,if I thought they would track and hold zero I would much rather have 2 of the Weavers as 1 Leupold,,but if they wont I would rather not have any.

has anybody used the Weaver rimfire scopes,,I mean really used them,,we go through a bunch of ammo and shoot at 25 yards and run the scope up and down out to 125 yards and back a bunch,,if the Weaver wont take a bunch of cranking elevation back and forth I dont need it..

HELP????????

Not the rimfire models but I've got a couple of the Weaver Classic 6-24 model scopes I've been using for factory class rifle shoots and have no complaints at all so far. Time will tell. I bought another off a friend just recently and got it back yesterday from the factory after having the reticle changed for a finer Target reticle. Factory service wasn't cheap but it was fair and reasonably fast. I would think the rimfire models would be similar.

I have a burris compact 3-9x32, a burris timberline 4-20 and leupold compact rimfire 2-7x32 with fine crosshairs. The leupold is awesome, the timberline is good and burris compact is poor. Check outr the burris timberlines. They make some small light variables for less than 200. Also check out the bushnell elite 3200 in 2-7x32

My 14 yo's 10/22T has the Weaver 2-7 rimfire and it appears to be a good scope. We just got it for him last Christmas and it hasn't been worked out much yet. We just sight it in and leave it without a lot of cranking back and forth for long range. I don't know how well it would work in that application. PH

does it track well when zeroing and hold zero,,one of the rifles will be zeroed at 50 yards and just hunted with,,I might just get one and see how it does before deciding on the other 2,
