Got my dad's Marlin 60 semiauto I want to scope with a 2-7x for squirrels. Don't want to put $200 plus into it. Saw a Sightron Si Hunter on sale for $134 and change. What do y'all think?

I would just get a Wally World Centerpoint 4 x 16. All the air rifle hunters love them.

Thanks a bunch for the tip. I was thinking a 35mm objective like the Sightron has seemed a bit much for a Marlin .22.

Thanks. In my experience the field of view at 2 or 2.5x is nice when all the leaves are still on the trees.

I did a little searching and it seems the Weaver is the one to get. One serious squirrel Hunter put a video of it on YouTube and showed all three of his. Hopefully I'll be able to get one next year. Thanks again for the recommendation.
