Not sure what you are asking…there are a number of 9mm carbines that shoot 9mm cartridges…the .350 Legend rifle shoots 9mm size 'bullets'…I have loaded some for plinking rounds in my Ruger Rifle in .350 Legend…

Why would you want one/use one?

You could potentially have a nice short range rifle, to shoot a lot of bullets, for relatively cheap.
