S&W makes a model 610 chambered for the 10mm which can also fire .40s&w. Charter arms is coming out this year with revolvers chambered for 9mm & .40s&w that have the moon clips already built in so you can just load and shoot w/out clips. But I don't really trust Charter Arms quality. The S&W 610 is a super nice gun though, big, but it is geared towards handgun hunting. They also make a compact nightguard series in 10mm which can also shoot .40's but it is $$$$$

the half moon clips hold 3 rounds each ,,since the 9mm headspaces off the neck and has no rim it holds the shells in place ,,I think they made a few tthat headspace in the cylinder just like an auto barrel and dont need the clips,
