Reusing Sabots

I know it may sound incredibly cheap but, does anyone or has anyone reused them. I shoot 80gr goex and 240gr sabots. I buy the bullets and sabots separately in bulk and have always wondered what the issue would be in using once fired sabots again.

I've tried it. They make your bullet do crazy things, all over the target. I shoot the green sabots with the 44cal xtps. Not worth the little you might save to wound and completely miss a deer or whatever your shooting at. My 2 cents.

All of the ones I've used look like they melted a little when I shot them.

My buddies who shoot 100grs and over really mess sabots up. They might have 1 petal left after a shot. The ones I use still look good except for some rifling marks. I wouldn't use them for a deer at least not the first shot. I might do some testing just for fun. I'm looking for the green Knight sabots if anybody knows where I can find em' cheap let me know.
