retrieval question

I'm hunting land that joins aedc wma what is law on retrieving deer if I shoot one answer it runs onto the wma.

IMO, it would be illegal for you to retrieve the deer without permission from the Area Manager.

And, since it would be coming off of federal land, it would be a Lacy Act violation to illegally take the deer off of the WMA.

Get in touch with the Area Manager before any tracking/retrieval on the WMA.
