Re: Results

Not much of a duck hunter but wanted to get into it. We were the first draw on Unit two Old Hickory. Go figure. Picked 32, Any good?

Best blind on that unit. Usually will kill a bunch and a great variety.

Re: Results

Ended up with 81 on upper unit and a few of our group signed on another blind as well..

wtdhunter congrats, some of the stories(some I can confirm, others I cant haha) ive heard about some days in that blind from the past have been pretty nuts, hope yall have a few of those days this year! my work is about a 2 min boat ride from there let me know if you need a hand or anything this year man

Re: Results

Struck out at Cheatham. But first time in three years without being picked so can't be too miffed.

Re: Results

The group that got drawn first for Old Hickory Unit 1 was right behind me. They picked blind 35, I sure hope they knew what they were doing. People in the crowd were cheering and laughing when they did that. After that, blinds 0 and 4 went, as expected. I hope that group didn't blow the chance at first pick with a bad blind, I hope they have a good season.

That was a blown chance. 35 was really good years ago but is worthless now

its not that bad of a pick, still the best in that bottom, short boat ride(even though you need a pond boat and have to unload/load your boat twice), cragwall has the best food on the unit.. traditionally one of the top blinds taken up to about 3-4 yrs ago. definitely not worthless.. And a lot of people pick on preference as well, I know my group wouldn't take 4 for anything, I'd take 35 over it any day, not too high on 0 either.. one thing about 35 is January is normally slower than December for some reason.. They'll have some good days in 35 for sure, and at least there's always woodys to shoot at!!
