I have a slight problem with the rear rest that I am planning on using in Montana.
After most shots, I have to adjust the rear rest. It is a smaller rest, so im thinking about getting a bigger based bag.
I havent shot of bags bfore, so it might be me, and not knowing what Im doing wrong.

I use a Protector high rabbit ear bag loaded with "heavy sand" which helps with movement. With some heavy kicking rifles I still get a little movement of the rear bag but haven't wanted to spend the extra money on an Edgewood bag yet.

remke, look at the Edgewood bags. The Mini Gator is a very good bag and filled with the hevi sand is quite a foundation. I jus happen to have one I could part with, if interested. I have 4 of them. It is black cordura top and leather, filled with hevi already. $135.00 tyd. It is a double stitch spaced ear so a sporter stock works great.

I looked at Edgewood lastnight. Those things are nice.
But it is a little more than I can spend right now. Maybe after the trip.
Thanks for the offer Tim. :(
