I'm having trouble with a coyote that's been hanging around here the last couple weeks or so. He took 3 of my chickens last week and he's been trying for my cats, that are usually are on my front porch and deck.
I can't sit out there 24/7 with my AR, although I do in the afternoon after I'm done with the day's chores.
So I need someone who speaks coyote-kill.
You'll be hunting from this:
View from inside the shooting house:
My house and shop are located at the top of the hill off to the left. When the coyote comes near the house (when we see him), he comes up the hill, gets chased off by one of my dogs (or gets one of my chickens :livid: ), then runs right down the hill right next to the tree line at the top of the hill on the left.
This is where I usually set up:
This is an older pic: You can't shoot in the direction off to the right due to a new house built behind the power pole visible just to the right of the deck corner and the tree line behind it. When we see the coyote, he's coming out of the woods to the left of this pic. The last chicken he got was about 20' to the left of this pic, that's how close to the house he's getting.
Anyone want to help me get rid of a coyote?
Thanks for looking!
