I saw that you can get the Stan Onnex in a resistance release. I like the idea of holding the thumb safety while drawing and letting it go and pulling to release the arrow.

A few people told me to stay away from the resistance releases for hunting.

Do any of you guys use a resistance release for hunting?

I bought a resistance to compliment my Perfex for training and practice. I'd never use it for hunting. In a hunting scenario sometimes you may need to punch.
