I've got a 1999 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 ATV. I've got some oil leaking around where the speedometer cable goes into the motor. I tightened it up and it still leaks. I ordered a new cable for it. I have the service manual, and it has no instructions concerning changing this cable out. I am "assuming" it is a simple unscrew and screw the new cable back in. I know I will have to drain the oil out of the crankcase first. Does anyone have any experience with changing out a speedometer cable on this model or can offer any advice. I am not much a of a mechanic, so all help appreciated! Thanks.
