Who replaces Muschamp?

I saw a 10 coach list.

I find Mack Brown and Art Briles interesting.

Harbough, no chance

Spurrier not a chance and only the old school would want him.

My money on Mullen if they want him.

I am sure he is happy with his progress at MSU but no way he can keep recruiting up year in and out to stay at top of SEC....

Thoughts?

I think they'd be taking a chance on Mullen. His track record at MSU is spotty. Last year they were talking of his seat getting hot this season, so is it really worth taking a chance on someone because of one season? They are going to be the MSU we have grown to know next year. Foley better hit a homer with this hire or he's toast too.

Word has it that Mullen left FL on bad terms so there's a chance that will not happen. Foley is pretty safe since because he has one of the richest and winning programs in the country.

Foley is living off Meyer's legacy and Donovan staying. Basketball doesn't pay the bills anywhere by itself to compete in the SEC. If Foley craps a mediocre head coach again, he'll be gone. He's taken quite a bit of heat over the Muschamp years.

You might want to check out where all of FL sports ranked.... The bottom SEC one pretty much sums it up. Foley is safe.

Impressive but table tennis, soccer, field hockey etc... Don't matter, If you suck up Two head football coach hires in a row you will be looking for a job.
Donors stop donating and all athletic budgets get cut, when that happens money dries up and recruiting gets harder across the board. Don't ask me how I know this

No matter what the powers that be say today, if Florida doesn't start playing for at least some SEC titles in football, Foley is gone. No other sport comes close to football in the SEC. It's the one that matters. It's the one that has 80,000-100,000 people watch games in person. It's the money maker, sans Kentucky basketball, for all the other sports listed in your post. All of those sports combined don't have the revenue of one home football game. If Foley screws the pooch on a new football coach, he'll be walking. You can remind me if I'm wrong.

Btw, if the gators beat FSU, I'll buy a pair of Mucks from you and sell them in the TNDeer classified ads for the charity of your choice.

Do you really think the gators will continue to rake in the cash if they continue losing to teams they should beat? I don't. I also think if Foley hires a dud, they natives will get restless before season #1 is in the books. There won't be a honeymoon.
