Replacement Grip

Help me out here. I can't stand the fat rubbery grip on my Hoyt Turbohawk. When it's humid outside and the grip gets sticky it causes me to torque the bow from time to time. What is a good thin replacement grip? I've searched online and can't find anywhere that has the side plates in stock.

I've taken the grip off and wrapped in athletic tape. It's very breathable and don't slip. Also I get a good feel of the bow.

I was thinking about doing that. When the temps get really cold will the tape keep my hand from freezing when I pick the bow up?

I took mine off a couple weeks ago. I shot for a couple weeks with no grip and really didn't care for it. It almost felt like the bow was going to slip out of my hand at full draw. I'm thinking about one of the wood grips. I like the feel of the thicker grip but the rubber is not good for me.

There are several companies out there that make aftermarket grips, like Torqueless grips for instance--a quick search on Google will find them you will.

I looked at them, but they don't make one for a Hoyt for some reason.

Hoyt made a wooden grip that is same contours as rubber one that will fit that bow.
