remodeled my ruger .338!

i've had this gun for 15 years and took real good care of it. hunted with it hard and only put a few nicks in the stock over the years but i noticed that the clear coat was starting to peal up around the edges. so i took it apart and refinished the stock with a durable satin finish. turned out real nice! i also decided to put a new nikon monarch 2.5-10x42 on it.

while i was at it i decided to float the barrel.

it was always accurate but i can't wait to shoot it to see if floating the barrel is gonna make much difference.

Its got a fine looking stock . That monarch looks good on it also.

Took me long enough didn't it. You know when I started. Been sick and haven't felt like working on it plus I had to redo the finish 3 times cause I'm so picky and wanted it perfect.
