Post what you find. I have one that has been passed down. My grandfather used it, my dad and his brothers and was the first gun I learned to shoot and I plan on using it for my son.

Like the link said was only 300,000 made. . If you look on the barrel at the end of the stock you can see what number it was produced from the total number. . Mine is the 279,141 made. . Pretty cool. . Made in the 30's . . Can be worth some good money depending on condition. . Mine I just got has rust I need to work with. .

Whats the number on yours? Hows condition?

Pretty rough condition, but still a pretty straight shooter. I do not have it at my house. I'll get the # the next few days.
