The recoil pad on my wood stock model seven is deteriorating. Why I have no clue . It's really sticky and keeps peeling off. I was wanting to replace it with a new one but can't find anything on the web. Read a few comments that said no one made a replacement for the model seven. Any suggestions ?

I had two do the same thing, called Remington and they are aware of this issue. They sent me two new pads.
