That will do it everytime, I had it happen once, my bolt caught my bibs in a tree stand one morning.
I think the original question was about slam fires or unexpected fires. I can't say for sure, but I think those have a lot to do with people adjusting Rem 700 triggers that have no business touching them. I have several Remington rifles, and have tested them to the point of trying to make it happen and it has never happened to me.
