Remington 700 bolt knob replacement

I have a couple of Remington 700 rifles with factory bolt knobs and one with an aftermarket that I really like. I want the 2 factory bolts to have the same aftermarket knob as the other rifle. Rem 700 bolt handles are not threaded and require turning the factory knob down for shank to be threaded or then drilled for a threaded insert. For those of you who have had this done, who do you use/recommend?

Ive done mine with a 4" grinder and a die. If I was going to get someone to do it I'd probably check with long rifles inc in South Dakota.

Longrifles will probably be the fastest out there. R.W. Snyder is another good one who has done some for me.

LRI. Don't use just anyone. Anyone may cut the bolt and turn it down. This may lead to voids in the casting unfit for threading. LRI bores a hole and adds a stud for threading. It's a much better way to add a knob.

I've looked on their website at their work and the steps they take to get there. The casting voids would definitely cause a problem if just 'glossed' over.

Thanks for all the input and I'll be getting LRI to do the bolts.
