I bought one of these two weeks ago at wal-mart for 59$.

Seems like a sturdy stand, First stand I've ever owned. Gonna put it up next week-end and hopefully take a good deer outta it come nov.6.

Y'all heard anything good or bad about them?

if its the one with the narrow ladder, then i have 2-3 of them. i dont like the narrow ladder. i like to be able to stand on the run with 2 feet at a time.

yeh i just put mine up, i was in summer atire and could barely fit under the shooting rail and sides of the seat. i wish i invested in the two man.

got 4 of them

the one with a sling seat
Its comfy

but for the long road I thnk the metal mesh seat would be better.

Can't complain bout a $59 stand though.

Not a fan of the narrow ladder either. Seat is okay. I gotta say that I will never buy another stand without side rails and a shooting rail. I sat in a basic ladder stand twice this year and just felt like I was gonna fall out the whole time- even with my harness.

Have three of them and they work good for a slim to medium build fellow. I put extra brace underneath with 4 inch screws for extra support.

I don't like the narrow ladder either. If you watch you can catch 15ft ladders on sale at Cabelas for about the same price. They usually have free shipping also.
