Can you look up a rem 700 with just serial number as their is no barrel stamps or codes on this one, thanks
 
Serial number will give you a date range of manufacture, then barrel code will give you exact month and year if I remeber....

But a lot of Rem 700s have had a barrel swap, so action serial number is all you have to give you an approximation.

There is nothing on the barrel, im pretty sure it was barel swapped, when i bought it it was stainless barrel with integrated muzzle brake with blued action. I had it all cerakoted flat black and installed a timney trigger. Any ways the serial starts with a c so it could be several different years looks like, thanks for reply

Oh, that's one of the best!!!!

C prefix actions were mostly early to mid 80s, IIRC
