I just got a new to me pse whitetail obsession, came with everything I need, but the release seems to be very light in the trigger. It is a Scott release, but I can not find a model name on it. Should I try to get a heavier trigger release, or are they light triggers?

Usually they have an adjustment. Or it may just be worn. I have had the same scott release for going on 25 yrs.

Shoot, shoot and shoot some more and you will get used to it being "light". I first started using a Scott release about 20 years ago and thought it was way too light. I wouldn't have one any other way now. Just like shooting a rifle, you don't want to jerk the trigger, you want it to gently squeeze until it goes off.
