If it is blind 60, i hope the wind is light. When you get in front of that blind you can see daylight at the back. I sure they did a better job brushing this year. The best thing about that blind is getting to watch everyone else.

You can kill ducks there but that wind is rough there depending on the direction. It is hard to compete with the large spreads in the open water. It is hunting and some days they just like that spot.

A friend of mine spoke to someone who hunted that blind on opening day last year, said they killed a mixed bag of 20.

Yep you are gonna need some weight to hold them decoys.

The best thing about that blind is getting to watch everyone else.

I'd say pretty much the case unless you have a set of @ 500 decoys, which would be impractical for most drawing this blind.

The last time we had a blind on Reelfoot, we used double bricks, and the decoys still got pushed around when we got ice.

There is no dealing with ice. I've seen blinds floating helter skelter after the support posts were sheared off by big sheets of ice.
