Red Oaks are Dropping

Scouted a couple of hardwood bottoms today and to my surprise, found a couple of Red Oaks already dropping. Deer have been feeding on them heavily as well. I'm fired up!!!

Have white oaks falling everywhere too.

Squirrels are really cutting acorns hard now.

Yep falling good where I am. A bad sign to because every tree I saw looked loaded.

I've saw a few red oaks with acorns and a few white oaks also. Not all are loaded and several don't have an acorn on em... From what I've seen in my areas, seems just right for hunting. Some of the slowest bow seasons I've had were when every tree was pouring...

That lone oak back in the cover, dropping a few on the trail to the soybeans, is all I look for anymore..
