As mentioned in other post I recently mounted a red dot optic on my G19 and the screws came with the blue loctite already applied. I torqued to 15 in-lbs per the spec....my question is....should I have applied my own blue loctite? Or is the factory application sufficient? I ask because every instalation video mentions applying loctite? This is my first handgun optic application and was curious the opinion of those who have more experience....appreciate any feedback.

I'm a retired Toolmaker. I would never, and have never, used Loctite on a gun. Quality components, properly torqued, don't need it. If the manufacturer is supplying it and telling you to use it, I'd do what they say.
Thanks.....manufacturer supplied screws with blue loctite already on the threads...but every instructional installation video shows loctite being applied from the bottle....so thats why I questioned the process?....but the screws are properly torqued so should be good to go....appreciate the feedback.
