A person I know took this during ML season. When he made the shot at 140 yards, he had no idea that it wasn't a whitetail doe also though he admitted she looked a little funny. He's been hunting this place for several years and uses cameras. She appeared once on the camera from well before the season started. From the photo she looks a little on the poor side. Anyway, he showed me these photos and first thoughts was it surely looked elk like. We finally decided on red deer. She's certainly a very old gal as the open mouth shot attests (notice ivories on top jaw). Our biggest question....where did she come from and where has she been all these years? BTY, this was in Marshall County in the Lewisburg area.
