Since everyone is showing recovered bullets heres a barnes. 4 1/2 year old 8 point shot at 100 yards quartering to me. Bullet entered center of near shoulder and lodged just under skin in offside ham. Deer went about 100 yards with losts of blood.

I have shot a handful of deer with the Barnes Expanders and TEZ's including one facing me at 100yds and have yet to recover one. The head on shot came out between her back legs!

You're lucky to recover one because I never have yet. Recovered most of my power belts and several of the SST's, but no barnes bullets. I guess that's the reson I stick with barnes.

I've recovered 3 Barnes Expanders and all 3 looked just like this.

I even weighed them and they all weighed between 245-250 gr.

2 of the bullets I recovered were actually almost out of the skin on the opposite side, 1 of those had gone all the way from the base of the neck to the opposite side flank ( hard quarter towards shot). The one bullet I was able to dig out of the ground.
