found this yesterday while walking thru a freshly turned over field near the creek.....

any input on what type it is?

i wish i could stumble up on a field full of these like other folks! i found this one not far from where i found one just like it but bigger down in the creek.....cant seem to find any "arrowheads"....from what i am told these are some kinda farm implements.....any input?

I was always told that those were a tool used for a lot of different things, like scraping hides, digging etc...but I don't know for sure
 
That would have been left where they lived or farmed. It will be hard to find any unbroken arrowheads there. Not many deer running through the village to shoot at. But you should be able to find alot of cool stuff though. Look for their trash pitts and dig there.
