After an IL "breeze" blew my backpack off my stand last week where it ripped the top out when the pull rope caught it before it hit the ground, I came back home looking for a replacement. I found a Kelty Wrangell backpack (3,000 cu" and in Realtree AP Green) with a bunch of bells and whistles discounted from $150 to $70 at Campmoor.com.
Anyway, when it came in, I found it just isn't what I need for whitetail hunting, even carrying as much as I do for all day sits. But, with a gun toting sleeve on either side, and a bow attachment across the back, it is IDEAL for western hunting. If I saw such a trip in my future it would be going on the shelf. But, that doesn't look likely.
I put it in the TNDeer classifieds for a few days before I send it back to Campmoor as a return in case one of you guys that does, or is planning, a western trip might be interested. $65 + shipping (or meet me in Nashville).
I don't have pictures, but if you go to Campmoor.com you will find pictures and specs for it on their site.
Thanks!
