on the wings of a snow white dove
Ran scratcher do-all last Thursday and Friday, got the treflan incorporated on about 30 acres, 5 fields

Will hook to planter tomorrow, check her out, calibrate seed settings and plant when dirt is dry enough

How many pounds is that? We were told 50 pounds an acre. We are broadcasting. Don't have a planter

Broadcasting works great

I did this before I had a planter

I would mix the seed in with fertilizer, cut the output rate in half and go over plot twice

Going on memory I want to guess 10# per acre

I am putting out roughly 7# per acre depending upon seed size

Remember that less plants equals larger stalks and larger sunflower heads

We like the larger stalks on our plants in hopes of them still standing at end of 3rd dove season

Good deal. We have fertilizer and lime hitting the ground Monday. Gonna disk it in and then cultipacker and plant

But we only hunt it one day. Usually the Saturday after the opener. I think we are gonna shoot Sunday this year so we can hunt the whole day

It's all replanted in deer food by then. And I'm duck hunting mainly at that point
