Based on all the beam scales and digital scales I used in college, for absolute accuracy I'll take a beam scale any day. Make sure the joints are free of debris and I assume you're using a powder trickler? RCBS stands behind their products and I'm sure they'll replace it if it's defective.

from my dealings with a beam scale and a digital. I will take a beam any day. Call RCBS and ask them, I have real good luck with them, every time they sent me new parts at no cost and fast.

Well call the first time and they hung up me and try calling them back and they finally said to send it to them to recalibrate it and that's it . I guess that solves the sticking problem . I'm going digital

I've been using an RCBS 10-10 since the mid-80's. Practically an extension of my arm now. Nothing against the digital ones although earlier ones were junk, current ones seem accurate and repeatable. Remember, they round up/down if you are getting close to max values.

As earlier posted, call or email RCBS. They are quick, polite, helpful.

I tried calling them and they hung up on me and try calling them back and they said to send it back so they can recalibrated then hung it . guess that solves the sticking problem

That doesn't sound like the RCBS I have dealt with must be the week end help. I bet if you send it back they will just send a new one.

I don't they go out that quick . I Check the pointer and its not touching anything . . I try calibrated it and any finally I think it's on 0. But when I put powder in it ,
