I've rattled in a few bucks and continue trying. I've been successful with real antlers and rattle bags. I like the idea of the "black rack" with both sides of the rack to rattle with. I know someone last year that used one and another hunter was watching a buck respond to that rattling and shot him while he was headed toward the rattling. What's your opinion of the black rack...for those of you that have used them?

Mike, ive only held them and played with them a time or two and really liked the idea and the sounds they produce. Ive only used real antlers in the field so I don't have any positive/negative experiences to go on with them.

Never heard of them. I use the bag early in the year and real antlers as we get into the cruising phase. I'm about to quit all of it here in TN.

Used real and the bag. Tends to draw in the little ones and you have to either shoot them or pray they get distracted and leave before they start snorting and stomping. Had one come in three times, couldn't have weighed much more than 60 pounds but he was sure in the mood.

I've never rattled one in but, have tried it a few times. I had a set of Woods Wise synthetic horns. I made a rattle bag today though, and seems to sound pretty good.

Not always Dave. Some years ago I sparred in seven bucks with the bag. It was 98-degrees with a full moon. I killed the seventh. Eight-point that went 142 and change.
