Do you think does are too busy with fawns right now to visit bait sites. 5 bucks to 1 doe every day. It was the same last year until we stopped the bait sites in September.

I think probably more likely nutritional needs. Lactating does need wet green food full of minerals, vitamins, and moisture to produce milk. Corn doesn't check any of those boxes.

The amount of browse that deer actually eat/needs is truly amazing. They need a variety of things. As said above corn ain't it especially this time of year with all the natural browse. Plus I would assume its probably a bachelor group of bucks.

Corn is basically an energy food, being mostly carbohydrates. That's not really what deer need right now. However, they will begin loading their bodies with fat a little later in the summer. I've found corn usage picks up in August, but is quite low in July.
